Dealing with a guy who's fresh out of a break-up can be tricky because, while you're hoping you've found the perfecr guy, there's always the chance you're his rebound girl. When the guy looks at you, doesn't see you for who you are; he sees a soft, warm robot who can pamper him. Here's how to know if you're the rebound (or robot) girl.

1. You Are Frozen
           If you were friends with a guy and, when he got a girlfriend, his friendship mysteriously vanished until he decided to be friends again, you may very well be a frozen project. As soon as his girlfriend came on the scene, you were "frozen". He probably never told you to go away; he just got caught up with her. The guy just put you in suspended animation and, since he thinks you never officially stopped being friends, he can pick up where he left you, like a book.

2. You Have The Same Name as the Ex
           There is an outside chance this is an honest coincidence and just bad luck but it is almost 100% chance that this guy is crazy or lazy.

3. You've Slept Together Before
           A rebound guy is looking for something fairly simple in a girl: sex, companionship and spiritual connection - minus the companionship and spiritual connection. Hehehehe. Like electrons, guys will always  follow the path of least resistance. So, if you have a sexual history with a guy and he's coming to you after a break-up, he's searching for sex in the place he feels will be the easiest.

4. You're The Exact Opposite Of the Ex
           If he keeps bringing this up, be careful - you have found a guy on the rebound who is trying to rebel.

5. You're Exactly The Same as the Ex
           If you encounter a guy who was deeply in love with a girl and then fell into a net of break-up and is on the rebound, be careful.
