The Wrath of Tsunami: Philippines, Are You Ready?

With a magnitude of 9, the earthquake that struck Japan on Friday, March 11, 2011, was the strongest and the most destructive ever recorded in the country. It is also the third strongest quake in the history of the world.
What's more unbelievable is the havoc it caused after a tsunami relentlessly wiped out an entire city - properties, infrastructure, vehicles and lives.

To date, more than a thousand people are confirmed dead, but the figures could reach 10,000.

Would our country, the Philippines, ever be prepared for a disaster of such magnitude?
